I’m Noel, a pet portrait and wildlife artist based in Yorkshire, UK.

As a self-taught artist, I began drawing from an early age and was always inspired by wildlife. Drawing everything from British birds to landscape scenes.

Throughout the final years of school, I always intended to pursue a career in art.  But after completing full time education my career path moved in a slightly different direction, which then led to a long break from creating any art.

 

Fast forward to 2020 and I began to draw again as a hobby after attempting a portrait of our family dog. Inspired by a TV show on Sky Arts, I continued to draw various different portraits. I soon found that I had remembered all the old techniques and quickly started to progress while learning new skills.

After a few years and lots more practice, I decided to use my love for art and turn my hobby into a business. I chose to specialise in custom pet portraits, using the highest quality soft pastel and pastel pencils to capture memories for animal lovers that last a lifetime.
